Baylee's First Concert
So as you may remember my mum bought Baylee a ticket to go see Miley Cyrus in concert for her birthday. Well that day finally arrived. As many of you probably already heard Miley had an "issue". After singing two songs and as the rest of the band launched into the third she ran off stage. So one of the back up singers picked up the pieces and tried to sing in Miley's place. Once they were finished a man came out to notify the thousands of people there that Miley had a bit of the flu and wasn't feeling well, but she would be back out in a couple minutes. It was kinda weird, but props to her, she came back out and finished the show. It was fun. Baylee had a good time. We got her a t-shirt and a book to remember the concert by. We had GREAT seats as you can see from the below picture. We were right on the side of the stage, basically in the front row of the section. We got there REALLY early and then grabbed some dinner and just hung out. The thing that bothered Baylee the most was that Miley kept leaving stage for costume changes. Baylee did not like that at all. I can understand why, you keep thinking it's over but it isn't. Her favorite song by far was "The Climb", we had to listen to it in the car ALL the way home!

Baylee's birthday celebratons.
As we always do we celebrated Baylee's birthday with my family the following Sunday. She was really excited and it felt like a long day for all of us as we rode the wave of anticipation. I must say though she had been patient all week. The only thing she got on her actual birthday was her new cell phone and a dinner with Mom. The rest were all saved. Grandma bought her some cooking supplies. I'm not talking about the food itself, but things to cook with. As well as some cookbooks for cooking with kids. Baylee thought this was pretty cool. Some other things she received included books, Scrabble for kids, some clothes, a new Utes t-shirt that MANY were envious of, some water bottles because she's gotten much better about drinking Crystal Light, as well as some Hannah Montana gift sets. Grandma also got her a ticket to go see Miley Cyrus (ROW FOUR!!!) next week. This will be Baylee's first real concert.

On Baylee's birthday she and I went to Chili's for dinner.
She informed be that BECAUSE it was her birthday it meant that
she did get to have cake for dessert!

Babies, Babies and MORE Babies!
So my mum had this great idea to go to the zoo before it started to get too cold. It seemed that a lot of people had that same idea. It was really crowded. Not to mention warmer than it had been all week. She also picked up a Grandparents pass as well. So my guess is we'll be going to the zoo a LOT more often. LOL .. just in time for Winter! We went with Amber and their kids, me and all my kiddies, and my Mum. I brought the little red wagon that Wyland got for his birthday and it worked out great. I don't think that Wyland was too thrilled to have to stay in it the entire time, however when I'm juggling both him and Jackson by myself I need to have at least one of them strapped in somewhere. There were some really good babies there this time too! I say really good because we're talking tigers, giraffes and elephants. We aren't talking some baby bird, that would not be too exciting.
Wyland REALLY liked the monkeys!
Elephant definitely won for cutest animal.
Baby tigers (there are three in there).
Baby giraffe.
Wyland chillin' in the wagon.
Baylee, Owen and Zarley
Cute Zarley.
The baby elephant (cutest of all)!!
Check it out, Daddy's name is Jackson!

Happy 12th Birthday Baylee!
Today is Baylee's 12th birthday. I can't believe that it's been twelve years already. THAT makes me feel old! This was a good year. Baylee worked hard to lose some weight, which was not an easy thing. She enjoys doing her Wii Fit the most. Some other things she enjoyed this year were her iPod, spending time on the internet, learning to email family, continuing her duties as big sister to TWO crazy brothers, had her first ride on the tube, swam off the boat in deep water, went to Camp K again, loves wordsearches, and that's to name just a few of the things from this year. She continues to enjoy school a lot and has a really great teacher for the second year in a row. All in all it's been great year. While Baylee challenges the patience of those around her at times she really has a very good heart. She brings lots of smiles to us all the time and all in all is a great kid. This year we look forward to continuing on our exercise mission, doing some more swimming lessons and hopefully a trip to the Magic Kingdom in the summer. Happy Birthday Baylee!!!! So here I will leave you with a picture tribute to Baylee along the way. I love these pictures of her so young .. she was SO cute!
