Jackson's Actual Birthday at home.

So Jackson had his family birthday party before his actual birthday.  We have a lot of birthdays during May and June (as well as Mother's Day and Father's Day).  So we have to combine a ton of events usually to fit them all in.  This was Jackson's birthday that we celebrated just our little family and my parents at our house on his actual birthday, which was during the week.

Jackson chose to have KFC for dinner. That boy loves his chicken.
Although he does prefer the grilled over the crispy.

So love these boys!

And the excitement continued.  He was so grateful for everything that he got.

Trip to the Zoo and another birthday party

So we headed up with the cousins to the zoo for the day.  It wasn't super hot yet, as in we hadn't begun the summer 100 degree heat wave we still can't seem to shake.

My kids have sorely missed hanging out with their cousins as much as they used to.  When they get the chance it's serious party time!

I have no idea why my kids have angry faces and Mike's have big smiles.  Turds.

This baby elephant is still the cutest!

Oliver REALLY enjoyed looking at all the animals.

Those boys SO wanted to pet that snake but they were too chicken.
Oliver is the only one that did because I helped him.

The lego animals were kind of cool.

After the zoo we headed back to my parents house so that Jackson could have his family birthday party.  I was really so so proud of how genuinely happy and excited he was about every single present that he got.  He really had a good birthday and you could tell he loved everything.  Good manners are really very important to us.

Excited much??!

Easter .. at least we're still in the same year.

So I realize that I have grossly neglected my blog for quite some time. But don't worry I've just been saving up all my photos until now!  We've been really busy doing lots of things like running, vacations, camping, etc.  So bare with me while I try and catch up a bit.  And forgive me for not reading and commenting on your blogs as much.  I did do a little catch up today.

Easter Morning

Yep, I totally know this guy needed a haircut.

Then we headed to Grandma's:

Xavier getting some help from Dad.

Aunt Rachel guarding the candy filled eggs for the kids.

Cousins are awesome!

Dog cousins are great too.
Look they're all smiling!

A holiday wouldn't be complete without these boys horsing around.

Colored eggs outside on the driveway.

My boys are obsessed with being in their underwear!!

It was a great holiday and as always my kids were spoiled rotten!!
