Utah Lake

We finally made it out for our first camping trip of the season.  We've only ever been to Utah Lake to stay overnight one other time and we got eaten alive by mosquitos.  We didn't really have the mosquito issue this time but the first night there were a lot of bugs.  The second night not as much.  Utah Lake is nice though since it's a flat pull (rather than up and through Parley's).

Jonathan and J'Von joined us for the weekend which meant Jeramie and the boys got to sleep in a tent.  I don't think they loved it too much.

After being without her precious iPad for a few weeks I have it repaired for the SECOND time while she was away at Camp K.  I brought out "my" new iPad with the fancy pink case.  I had her convinced it was mine and when I told her it was hers she was beyond happy and give it a big long hug!

Boston is so lucky to get to come camping with us as well.

Maisie suffers from a bit of motion sickness issues, however she is getting better.  Her first time on the boat this weekend she barfed.  Boston however got a gold star!

We made a deal with him that every time we take the boat out he has to try it ONE time.

Puppies grow so quickly!

I can't believe how quickly these puppies grow.  It's not just Boston and Maisie left.  Boston came home to live at our house when he was about 9 weeks old and adjusted very quickly to life with Abby (our poodle mix we've had for about 10 years).  He and Maisie attend puppy training together every Wednesday and still have play dates on Sunday's.

How can you not love that little puppy face??

He can be a little naughty sometimes.

I actually think he's too big to do this now thank goodness.

Oh Jackson. I don't even know what made him want to do Soaring Singers at school.  It meant he had to go before school at 7:30am every Friday.  Jeramie was a good sport about making two trips to school on Friday's.  I think we only missed one practice because we just plain forgot.  I'm surprised with the number of times Jackson was "sent to the principals office" this school year that they didn't kick him out.  He had fun though.

We went to the daytime performance that day because I had a trip to Chicago to go to.  It was fun seeing Wyland watching Jackson because he was just so enamored with it all.

Love those shoes.

Family Pictures 2014

For the first time I had family pictures take at FotoFly.  I've seen lots of friends have theirs done there and like them.  The only downside I see is that just looking at them you can see where they were taken.  So I guess that makes them not very original.  I did love how they turned out though and it was a good value for the money.  Be prepared for picture overload.
