PWS Swim Party 2011

Today was the annual PWS Swim Party hosted by the Utah Prader-Willi Association.
The party was set from 9am to 12pm.
Lunch to be served at 11:30am.
So I figured we would come and swim for half an hour, have lunch, then swim some more.
Well we arrived just before 11am.
As it turned out they kicked everyone out of the pool right when we got here,
guess the free swim was over.
So my mum went and paid for the kiddos to swim (stupid) and then we headed over for lunch.
The kids loved that there was a park right by the pavilion.
Baylee loved seeing some of her friends from camp as well.

Baylee and her friend Jessi.  Jessi loved Oliver and promised me she wouldn't drop him.  Haha.
Baylee's face tells you how excited she was to have a friend there.

There was a silent auction.  My mum bid and one carpet cleaning for $55.
I bid and won a Chili's $15 gift card for $12.

Then we headed over to the pool for some swimming.
 Jackson on the climbing wall.
 Zarley came with us too.
Wyland had a go on the climbing wall too.
 Haha!  Love that butt!
His shorts would fall down when Jeramie lifted him out the water!
Remember that song, "little white bum"?
Is there a ban on two piece swimsuits in Utah County that I don't know about?
I swear I was the only one for quite a long time.

Oliver is such a water baby.  He loves it!
Then Wyland plain fell asleep on my lap in the pool.
Doesn't Oliver look relaxed on his back?

What a fun afternoon we had!!

Preschool here we come.

Is it really possible that this guy is old enough?

The two of these guys both?
Wyland and Xavier.

This seems like just yesterday.

But I guess he's not the baby anymore.

Watch out because he's coming.

We took him this week to visit his new school.
Good thing they have dinosaurs.

Jackson showed him where everything is.

Then Owen and Xavier arrived and we had a party.  Well not really.

I'm so not ready.
But I hope he is!
School starts a week from Thursday.
I'm so glad that he at least gets to go with Xavier.

Now let's hope the school will spell his name correct and not leave off part of his last name.

We have a crawler on our hands.

It's official.
Oliver does the combat crawl.
And he is SO cute when he does it.
He's like a little caterpillar inching his way across the floor.
And everything small goes in his mouth.  Talk about stress.

In fact sometimes Jackson and Wyland lay down on the floor and have crawl races with him.
So cute.

He thinks he's a big kid now.

Wyland enjoys having a playmate.

Me?  I just want him to stay a little kid.

A sleeping baby.

I love sleeping babies.
I love looking at them.
I love holding them.
I just LOVE them.

This guy started flipping on his tummy to sleep from about 5 months.
I would flip him back onto his back and within minutes he would be on his tummy again.
Well okay then.
He's my first tummy sleeper.
That and he migrates to the top left corner of his crib.
Consistently.

And he loves his blankie.  We have four made of the same fabric.
He will shove them in his mouth and kind of gum on them.
Especially right now that he's teething.
He's got a second tooth coming through on the bottom any minute now.
And the top two front teeth look like they won't be far behind.

Last Camping Weekend

Like I mentioned this was out last camping weekend this summer.
Kind of a bummer.  While it means we'll be home and actually start getting things done around the house.
It also means that our weekends won't be spent sitting in a chair enjoying the outdoors.
Absorbing the vitamin D from the sun.

This picture is a terrible picture.  I don't know what's going on with my tank top.
'Cause it just isn't flattering.  BUT so as it may, this was me post swimming in the lake.
Doesn't Jeramie's hand look creepy next to Oliver??

Jackson insisted on getting his own chair to sit next to Uncle Evan to cook hot dogs in the parking lot.
'Cause that's how we roll.
That's right, post half marathon the day before Evan and Rachel came up for some tubing on Sunday.
I apparently got some serious air on my wakeboard run.
I thought they were just poking fun at me, but apparently not.
I wish there was a picture for me to see it myself, alas there isn't.
Just a random shot of Jeramie.
I swear he checks the oil level in Big Red a million freaking times.
I suppose it's a good habit and has kept her on the road and running well.
Thanks Aunt Rachel for teaching Wyland fun little nuggets of naughtiness!  haha.
Just remember your children are still to come,
and I have lots of little boys that will teach yours GROSS boy stuff.
Oliver liked his new backpack ride.  And it wasn't too hard on my back either.
Among other noteable weekend news Oliver cut his very first tooth!!!
We had the most gorgeous Jordanelle water we have ever seen.
I think Evan *may* have been wishing he hadn't asked us to take his wakeboard out of the boat.

Nothing like ending the season with a little parking lot lunch.
