Lake Powell 2012 - Day 2

On the second day at Lake Powell we started the day at the pool with the kids.  The kids actually seem to really prefer the pool there.  To the point that I was wondering what makes this any better than the normal pool we go to.  The only thing I can think, other than the fact that they have each other as company but the wall on the side of the pool is kind of high.  So in a way it's like they're jumping off a little bit of a diving board.  It was a nice and relaxing day.  The weather looked a little questionable for most of the day and we're pretty careful when it comes to that stuff.

After spending the day at the pool we headed out on the boat to try and capture some of that early evening perfect Lake Powell water.  It was a no go.  So choppy. 

Jeramie went out and the rest of us said forget it.  

Best part was the great view of the full double rainbows.
