After our trip to Wales we headed to Ann and Paul's house. We were running about an hour later than we had hoped and it was quickly closing in on 9pm. We stopped to get gas when we were getting close and spend some time debating about what to do for dinner. That's the hard thing about staying with other people. We didn't want to show up this late expecting dinner but then at the same time we weren't sure if they would have dinner there. Fortunately we didn't eat because when we pulled up it turned out there was practically a dinner party waiting for us!! Here we were climbing out of a car we'd just spent 4 hours in with a houseful of nicely dressed people. Ann had made a really yummy lasagna with salad and garlic bread. Not to mention that they are fond of Pinot Grigio wine which is my FAVORITE white wine. So it was a classic picture of good food, drink and friends/family. We were literally sat at the dinner table until 11pm. What a great time!
